Visiting For The First Time?
Sunday School begins at 9 am. We have a variety of classes for every age group. If you’d like to attend, enter the Family Life Center and someone will help you find the right class.
Our Sunday morning service starts at 10 am. We meet in the Family Life Center.
*The Family Life Center is the large building behind the brick church building.
Wednesday Evening Bible Study takes place on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. That service meets in the church building sanctuary.
You will mostly see a casual, relaxed dress code. We welcome all kinds of dress. We want you to be comfortable. As long as it’s appropriate you’ll fit right in.
Yes, we have nursery care available for children up to 3 years old. It’s located on the upper level of the Family Life Center. Pre-K (3 yr olds) through first grade students meet in the church building lower level for Wee Worship. All of our children’s workers have had a background check for safety. Children in the nursery and Wee Worship area will be registered weekly. You will receive a safety tag that you must have when picking up your student from either area. Children first grade and older attend our service in the FLC.
At VBC, we have a blended service. We sing the old hymns, but we also sing newer worship music as well. Our instruments are piano and guitar. Our choir helps lead our Sunday morning service.

We have a church parking lot available, but it can fill up quickly on Sunday mornings. Overflow parking is located just across the road next to the Vernon Gym. For your convenience, we offer a shuttle that will bring you right to the church and return you to your vehicle immediately following the morning service. Everyone is welcome to use this service, please don’t let parking keep you from joining us. We’ll make sure you’re taken care of from the moment you arrive!
